Fox Backs Lieberman So I Don't

Just as I was preparing to take a night off, I stumbled across this story concerning the Democratic Senate primary in Conneticut. It seems Joe Lieberman has cancelled scheduled campaign events today in order to spend the day making get out the vote calls. No big deal, I was almost going to say what does it matter who wins the primary as long as the Democrats hold the seat in November.
But then as I read the article, it became clear why Lieberman must be defeated. Fox News is backing him up! A report today on the channel on Ned Lamont featured the headlines "Have Democrats Forgotten The Lessons Of 9/11?" What did we learn from 9/11? Apparently nothing, as we still keep playing the enabler to the Israel war machine as it continues it's offensive measures against the whole country of Lebanon. We still are pushing for regime change throughout the region while mired in two wars with out end already that have yielded nothing but more hatred towards the US. And, ultimately, what does the war in Iraq have to do with 9/11 anyway? Not a fucking thing!
The report also featured the headline "A Lamont Win, Bad News For Democracy In Mid East? Yes folks, if Lamont wins, he'll be sure to vote against any further military actions the Bush regime has planned for the erst of the Mid East, namely Syria and Iran, we'll leave the Saudis and Kuwaitis to their respective monarchies, which shows you what a heap of shit this whole "war on terror" is, I mean most of the 9/11 hijackers as well as Osama himself, were all Saudis, but they get a pass because Bush likes holding hands with Prince Bandar.
Sean Hannity even pledged his support for Lieberman back in February of this year. One wonders who Hannity and Fox will back in November if Lieberman wins. Or decides to run as an independent. Lieberman turned Hannity down, Joe has already received the kiss of death from Bush, he doesn't need any more help digging his political grave from a fuckwad like Hannity.

It's all so heavily ironic. First there was King George's early slip up regarding launching a "crusade" against terrorism. Then somebody smart in his administration reminded him the word has unfortunate connotations for Muslims and he changed his tune to how none of this is about a "clash of cultures."

Yet somehow he's got Muslims all over the place hating America and Israel as never before.

I guess they're just such "evildoers" that they can't help hissing and gnashing their teeth louder in the holy presence and pure goodness of George and his buddies.

Not only did the cretinous Sean Hannity endorse Lieberman, so did Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh! More good reason to be glad he got the boot. But he says he is running as an indy. Hope he gets his ass handed to him in that election as well.

Ironic isn't it. The man runs on a ticket with a tree-hugger, gets endorsed by wing-nut branch of the Rethuglicans, and promises nadar-like to mount an independent campaign that will surely steal votes from Lamont.

I'm feeling too good right now with Lamont's win...to worry about November. We'll just have to hope that Lamont sinks his teeth into the campaign and shows them what grit he's got.

Remember, follow the money. The Bush family and the Bin Laden family had long standing business relationships prior to Shrub's election -- sorry, I mean bloodless coup -- in 2000.

These wars are all about lining the pockets of a very few, at the expense of the many. And if you've not seen "Loose Change, Ed. 2" you should check it out.

I'm writing this on Thursday.

Did you hear that Rove called Joe after the election and offered him help?

They can have him.

Fox is clinging to the last politicians to admit they were worng. As long as they have someone like lieberman around they can say that even the Dems thought this war was a good idea. Then they can point to the fact that The Dems kicked him out as "proof" that the Democratic Party is afraid to fight...

Wrong! We just fight the GOOD fight!

Farewell Joey... Don't let the war ... I mean door ... Hit you in the ass on your way out!

Will,
You link to a song by "PINK" on your blog. In doing that, I stopped taking you seriously. I mean "PINK" for Christ's sake, what were you thinking? It is always important to remember who your audience is...Pink?

anonymous,
we never take you seriously because you lack the courage to leave a real name. At least the Pink song wasn't "Get this Party Started".
