Bill Kristol, chief neocon, editor of The Weekly Standard and probable defense contractor stock holder thinks that those who torture should be given the Medal of Honor. Because there's nothing more honorable than ensuring that foreign fighters and Iraqi insurgents continue to kill American forces in Iraq than torturing people.
Torture is a war crime, which would make those who authorized war criminals. So into the moral quagmire we ask can you pardon some one for committing a crime you authorized?

He should be ashamed of tarnishing the reputation of the Medal of Honor for that.

He's shameless.
The Bush regime has been one big long opposite day, if you know what I mean. Criminals are rewarded, innocent people are rounded up and tortured, and we're fighting a war against people what never attacked us at all. Backwards.
That's a good question, whether a president can pardon somebody for committing a crime that the president himself authorized.
Bill Kristol should be waterboarded and cattle-prodded and then maybe he wouldn't be all warm and fuzzy about torture.
Bill Kristol is a tool, plain and simple. I think Tom is on the right track. The guy needs to experience first hand some of the stuff he advocates.
Kristol should be barred from all the pundit shows on TV. From a factual perspective, he has been completely discredited.
