Feeding Your Cancer Sweet!

Are our food companies trying to kill us? It almost seems that way, when you consider that they put high fructose corn syrup in almost everything these days. Already linked to hyper-obesity, HFCS can be found in almost everything out there, from some diet soda drinks and light salad dressings, to even croutons for stuffing chicken. No wonder more than a quarter of Americans are obese. The body processes the fructose in high fructose corn syrup differently than it does old-fashioned cane or beet sugar, which in turn alters the way metabolic-regulating hormones function. It also forces the liver to kick more fat out into the bloodstream. MMMM, more fat in the bloodstream.
Obesity can lead to more health issues, such as cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes.
Now HFCS has been found to be the sweet stuff that cancer cells love to eat. In other words, just eating a diet of regularly prepared food increases chances of any cancer cells you may already have to proliferate, especially in your pancreas.
So why is it in everything? Well, one reason is it's cheaper to use than other sugars. Two, the government (those bastards!)policies that aimed to stabilize food prices and support corn production in the 1970s led to a glut of corn and then to high fructose corn syrup. With a cheaper way to sweeten food, producers pumped up the size and amount of sweet snacks and drinks on the market and increased profits. So there you go, making you unhealthy makes some one else richer, and you can probably guess that it's not you. So if you think that the federal government and the FDA are doing their job protecting us safe and coddled in our Nanny Ninny State, guess again. Politics play more of a role than actual food safety. And remember, the FDA are the same people who gave us aspatame!

Very interesting, and something more people should be aware of. That's especially true if they rely of heavily processed, prepared frozen and other convenience foods. Same goes for people who chug down sodas and candy all the time.

My local paper had a brief the other day about Archer Daniels Midland, a top producer of HFCS, turning to export more of it because U.S. sales have declined in the face of increasing public awareness about the potential downside of steady, heavy use.

That creates a dilemma. The U.S. badly needs to export more stuff. Our imbalance of trade is horrendous. But U.S. firms shouldn't peddle products with a fairly strong potential for bad health impacts for their customers, especially their customers' children.

I think Uncle Sam should provide data on the potential for harm from heavy, steady consumption of HFCS to the World Health Organization and health ministries of countries that import significant amounts of the stuff.

SW,
Yes. Why does it always seem that, fromn weapons to HFCS, the only thing we export is something bad for someone else? But they hate us because we are free.

I don't think there's an organized conspiracy here, but it sure is a gold mine for the food industry, drug industry, and diet industry (among others). They're all helping each other. A person fattens up on processed foods and trigger foods, buys diet supplements and/or joins Weight Watchers or someone like them, gets sick so they have to start using various medications, and these medications have side effects which can be treated with other medications.

How conveeenient.

We need these government agencies (at least in theory), but we can't pretend they're actually watching out for us.

I always read the labels to avoid the stuff. We have literally put so much poison into our environment it is impossible to prevent it from invading our bodies.

I wonder what our species will look like in a hundred years?

In similar fashion, does the corporate music industry, in valorizing gangsterism and thuggery, aid in swelling the ranks of prisoners in the country with the highest incarceration rates on earth? Remember earth? 4.5 billion years old? Nihilism is very de rigueur amongst the globalist death culture set. There hasn't been an American fascist or international fascist conspiracy since Adolph Eichmann's contact with World Zionist Organization leaders in the mid-1930's or when Allen Dulles met with SS-General Karl Wolff in the mid-1940's. There is no 'conspiracy,' it's just how the wind-up toys work.

Tom,
Sometimes, mostly during Republican tenures, the FDA is as politicized as the US attorney's Office. I don't think there is as much of a conspiracy as it just kinda happens that way.
Dave,
It was as I began to read labels that I realized how prevalent HFCS is in our food chain. Now I try to buy food in as close to original condition as I can.
Dr. Injure,
I have often felt that way about the rise of "gangsta" rap myself. Anything whitey can do to keep the AA population down is alright by them.

You no longer have to "feel" that way about gangster rap being, in part, a COINTELPRO program. J. Edgar Hoover's FBI COINTELPRO program of the 1960's and 1970's had as one its stated goals "the prevention of the rise of the black messiah:" Whether it be MLK, Malcolm X, Chuck D or Tupac (well into the 1980's and 1990's). It's not easy speaking truth to power (or even "fighting the power") when your young brain is filled with flouride (a neurotoxin), "crack" cocaine aspartame, (a main ingredient in Coca-Cola Zero -promos of which have been passed out for free on college campuses), Pentagon-Italian Futurist US cultural imperialism masquerading as Hollywood entertainment (The Fast and the Furious), post-human cinema - and biological/anatomical debris from Virilio's genetic/biotech bomb.

A controversial book is continuing to making headlines fort its message, one that claims that the FBI used one of the most notorious Hip-Hop labels in history as a means of suppression for Black activism.

Titled The FBI War On Tupac Shakur and Black Leaders: U.S. Intelligence’s Murderous Targeting of Tupac, MLK, Malcolm, Panthers, Hendrix, Marley, Rappers & Linked Ethnic Leftists, the book was originally published in 2008 but is being highlighted again along with its accompanying DVD.

According to Author John Potash, Death Row Records was a sham—a front company that was filled with police officers working to stifle the creative genius Tupac Shakur from distributing his message of activism.

Dr. Injure
All very well, but isn't President Obama the Black Messiah

Dr. Kiss Injure said...

According to William Blum, Obama may have been a CIA asset or agent at one time. Which makes sense 'cause the last few times I dared listen in on an Obama speech he sounded almost exactly like W. Bush. Is he doing an impersonation on purpose? Anyone with such heavy connections to Oprah:Harpo:Satan is suspect in the sanity department.

Btw, Alex Constantine is an excellent researcher and published author and his work should be supported.
He's been doing good work for quite a number of years now.

How come we only have a nanny state on behalf of the wealthy and corporations?
