The Numbers Are Growing....

Despite the best efforts of the corporate media to downplay the Bush Crime Family's illegal and unethical behavior, Nearly half of Americans favor impeachment of Bush, while more than half support an impeachment of Cheney. Of course, more than 75% of Americans bleieve in ending th war in Iraq, which leads me to wonder, why haven't the Democrats done anything that they were voted in to do?
Even now, with anew election cycle around the corner, more and more Republican senators are jumping ship and calling for a withdrawal of troops from Iraq, while timid congressional Democrats refuse to back Dennis Kucinich's call for impeachment of Cheney. Way to drop the ball again, Democraps!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, the Dems aren't gonna do nothin'. I see Hillary's in favor of keeping troops there forever, and that billion dollar embassy well, we can't just leave that empty. Might as well make it the 51st state and get on with it, steal the oil and then maybe, just maybe, leave it when the faucet is dry. Thanks for your comment over at my new place. Linking you up. Best,...Neil

Yep, it's truly pathetic.

They should have been impeached a long time ago.

I think most, if not all of us Dems are scratching our heads and wondering why our representatives refuse to represent us. I, for one, am super pissed off at them for ignoring us.

If Pelosi and Reid had not taken impeachment off the table those figures would be significantly different.

People see Pelosi and Reid and protecting Buch and preserving the war.

I agree, it does all come down to money. If money didn't play such a big part, and if there weren't so many lobbyists crawling all over D.C., I think more politicians might actually LISTEN and vote the way their constituents ask them to. We are their constituents, but they seem much more interested in getting re-elected than in doing the will of the people. I won't take that further though, to use it to say the two parties are "the same". There are still enough differences that I will vote for anyone I thin has a shot at beating Republicans. Until the GOP can police themselves and return to being real conservatives instead of theocrats, neocons, whatever, I will vote against them.

For every action there's a reaction. And the Dems must have a damn good reason not to listen to the constituency. Blackmail? Bribery? Bets are up!
