The Only Sane Man In Washington

While the death toll rises in the newest Mid east crisis, the Republicans go fishing, introduce a resolution banning gay marriages AGAIN, or pack their bags for Bohemian Grove, one congressman is acting exactly how our President (who is busy sexually harrassing the German Chancellor)should be.
Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has introduced a resolution calling for the president (if he can pry himself away from Chancellor Merkel)to appeal to all sides in the current crisis for a cessation of violence and to commit US diplomats to multi party negotiations with no conditions.
Bush, however, warned Syria to stay out of Lebanon while giving Israel more time to carry out it's military campaign, which some commentators must have been in the planning stages for weeks, even before the capture of two IDF soldiers.
So while Iran demands Hizbullah curtail attacks on Israel, the idiot President blames them for the trouble. So look for an attack against Iran as part of A Clean Break.

I would like to introduce a resolution asking the president and his cabinet to get the hell out of Washington and bring President Clinton back for the next two and a half years.

We can't afford, in so many ways, for our country to continue down this path we find ourselves on today.

Don't forget that Bush was also busy with his first-ever veto on stem cell research. He was worried about the "body parts of boys and girls" from those cells, but he shows callous disregard for the soldiers and civilians getting blown to smithereens.

Kucinich is a long term thinker. Who listens to a long term thinker.

That's funny, because I keep seeing Zionist reports that Bush is supporting Hizbollah against Israel.
Personally I haven't seen him supporting anyone, at least while it keeps Iraq off the front page.

I love Dennis Kucinich. I voted for him in the primary in 2004.

I'm just scared that they'll cheat again at the polls no matter how hard we try to get the Dems back in. They'll cheat and give us Jeb...we would trully be screwed.

Bush has been supporting Israel all the way! In fact, he's giving them one week to turn Lebanon into New republic of Ashes.

Kucinich is one of the few with any integrity. He is also a major pusher for a cabinet level Dept of Peace and spoke at the Peace Alliance forum in June, which we posted on at Peace Train. If anyone is interested in some of what Kucinich has said and how we can work toward a Dept of peace, your input there would be appreciated on the Peace Alliance/Dept of Peace topics.

I think that Bush is saying a lot by not saying anything. The situation is getting worse, and what little he has said came in the form of "accidental" inflammatory remarks.

I am glad I got to go hear Kucinich speak when he came to our little red-state burg during the 04 campaign. He truly is a thinker, one who likes to look long-range. His comment that the first 80-some-odd billion dollars appropriated for the Iraq war would have been enough to pay for college for just about every college student in America floored me.

Lew, that last link you provided is frightening. The thought that there are freaks being paid to sit around and think that stuff up in their "think tanks" is truly horrifying.
