To some people freedom means the right to do as one pleases. However, some stuff that one may choose to do is not something that pleases other people. These people feel that freedom means the right to impose their values on those who do not wish to have them imposed upon. For them, we have FEMA concentration camps. For those who choose to be Muslims, or liberals, or hippies, or atheists, or gay.
Oh, so you think it can't happen here. Ol' lew must be wearing his tinfoil hat in the sun again. Well, here are the top ten signs we're headed that way.

Lew, It has been happening here at an alarming pace. If your leaders want perptual war they must indoctrinate the children. They do so through the Evangelicals who preach about "warriors for Jesus."
I thought Jesus died for us, not the other way around!

This stuff scares the hell out of me. What will our country be like in a few years if sanity doesn't return?
I'm not sure the next election will make much difference either. We can changes leaders in Washington, but we'll still have these zealots trying to run the show behind the scenes.
They also have the money to buy influence - think DeVos, Waltons, etc.
Lew, Unfortunately everything is twisted around and now the kids in the U.S. of A. must die for Jesus, just like we accuse the "homicide bombers" of dying for Allah. Sure, they do kill themselves in the name of Allah, but it has proven to be so successfull and our bigtime CEOs know a good thing when they see it. So here we go, killing and dying for Jesus.
We can change leaders in Washington, but we'll still have these zealots trying to run the show behind the scenes. Whether we change the leaders or manage to get rid of the zealots (yeah right!) they'll still cheat us at the polls. They will leave no stone unturned to find a way to screw with the votes. GW got away with it, so why change if they can pull it off.
Precedent for detention camps in the USA was set during WWII when the US Government rounded up hundreds of thousands of Japanese Americans and put them into detention camps throughout the West. Ashcroft's suggestion to open camps was sort of squelched, but nevertheless, here we go.
