No Shit!

Well, it's only taken the Senate three and a half years to reach the conclusion most of us knew already. There was no link between Saddam and alQaeda. The mind boggles at the amount of time and money (all courtesy of you and me, the US tax payer)wasted on this conclusion that any one of my two faithful readers could have told you. This pretty much makes every piece of shit excuse hurled at the television screen in hopes it would stick by those assholes in the Bush administration to start an unnecessary war a blatant lie.
White House Press Secretary Tony Snow belittled the reports as "nothing new", in other words, yes even when he was a "journalist" (well, as close as you can be when you work for Fox) regurgitating these lies who knew they were in fact lies. Gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling knowing that you can be deceived with impunity by the people sucking them dollars out of your pocket, doesn't it?

I think I'm about to puke...yes, i can actually taste a little bit of it in the back of my throat. I'll save the rest for the letter I'm sending to Washington.

Classic Republican trick... When new information comes to light that is contradictory to the position you have previously taken, claim that this was always the position. Take the Dept. of Homeland Security: At first they were opposed to it, then it was their idea. The 9/11 Commission: At first they were opposed to it, then it was their idea. Today's Senate report: First there was a link between Saddam and al Qaeda, now there never was and this is old news. Next week I expect that Tony Snow will announce that "we've always been at war with Eurasia."

Hopefully, this report... which of course was buried on a Friday... will finally knock some sense into the seemingly empty heads of the sheeple, and maybe can even change those unbelievable poll numbers that 43% of US people polled say there is a connection to Saddam and 9/11.

Tina - the latest number I heard is now 38% (BBC).

These humanoids must have burried themselves in their thickly insulated bunkers so well that no sound or light can penetrate in. We might just as well write them off as an unexplainable off-shoot of the Homo Sapiens. Only way I can understand this high number is, that like any other rodents they breed fast. Since being rodents, they are leting us to have at least one dream - that they leave the ship any day now.

Oh come on, you need to cut them some slack. They did find evidence of "Weapons of mass destruction-related program like activities".

I say, take the bastards to Iraq and drop them off naked and alone any place outside of the green zone. I wonder if they will say, "Nothing new" and shrug as they are being marched off in the little orange suits.

Meanwhile, Fox news is showing a new terror video of OBL wandering in the rugged mountains with his dress and walking stick and masked men pretending to slash their victims throats in a violent "simulated video." More Americans heads are going back up their asses.
