Plus, he never got married, had sex, or was romantically linked to a female. Elton John was a major music superstar in the seventies who was also one of the first to publicly declare their gayness. So I'm assuming he has a finely tuned gaydar.
The Catholic League, protector of all things Jesus, responded with their own ludicrousity:"to call Jesus a homosexual is to label him a sexual deviant".
No, Mr. Donohue, Elton John was not suggesting that Jesus was what like so many Catholic priests have been accused of, he was merely suggesting that many of the qualities Jesus possessed are shared by a large number of gays. He wasn't a kiddie raper, that's what the Catholic Church has spent many years covering up and paying millions of dollars to obscure. There's your sexual deviancy.

Jesus had to be gay. Those longhaired hippies are always homosexuals, especially those pansy ones that are always simpering about "tolerance" and "help others."
